photokunst’s Barbara Cox, just attended the Frankfurt Book Fair, an annual pilgrimage she makes as a book agent, representing photokunst book projects to prospective publishers, with three non-stop days of back-to back appointments. Helping to bring important photo books to fruition is one of Barbara’s passions, and photokunst’s consulting services for photographers.
As the world’s largest, even legendary book fair, Frankfurt is always exciting, innovative and very, very colorful. Every year in October, the professionals of the book and media industry gather here – be they publishers, booksellers, agents, film producers, hardware and software providers, or authors. Together, they start new projects and contribute decisively to shaping the future of the industry. This year there were more than 7,000 international exhibitors, and more than scheduled 3,200 events. New Zealand was the 2012 featured country.
