Tonight You’ll Seethe Real ElvisPresley by Alfred Wertheimer

Tonight You’ll See
the Real Elvis
Presley

This comment was made to the audience
because three days earlier in New York City,
Steve Allen introduced Elvis on the nationwide
television show as the “New Elvis Presley”
which was Steve’s interpretation of what Elvis
should be. Elvis at Russwood Park countered
that comment by telling the audience that
Tonight you’ll See the real Elvis Presley, and
proceeded to sing and gyrate all over the stage.
